Abstract

Can personal injuries or death orchestrated by international terror groups qualify as a tort remedied in United States' courts?

Do courts in the United stated have the qualifying jurisdiction to hear (entertain) cases involving international terror actors, even when their terror activities took place at an international (foreign) scene?

Can United States courts have the qualifying jurisdiction to make awards (compensation) or remedy to victims of terror who are foreign, even when the terror act resulting into injurie(s) or death(s) occurred outside the United States?

This article answers the above questions. Indeed later developments in United States Courts, Congressional enactments and International political developments have all had a part to play in this scene.
