Abstract
A colored image can be primarily classified into the fiat featureless and textured regions. In contrary to the fiat regions, the textured regions constitute the content of the image and thus require a technique that focuses towards specifically securing these textured regions of the colored image. The algorithm classifies the colored image into equi-sized blocks of textured area on the basis of the level of texture captured within the block and finally embeds the watermark in layers using frequency domain transformation.
