Abstract

Rarely is one book a lesson in all of criminal law. In the Name of Justice, edited by Timothy Lynch, is that book. The book contains a collection of essays on Professor Henry M. Hart’s classic article, “The Aims of the Criminal Law.” While our times have changed since the article was written in 1958, our legal challenges remain remarkably the same. This Book Review explores the modern-day implications of Hart’s article and its teachings for today.
