Abstract

This short work describes the author's conversation with a friend who had written a book about an artist. The author found that his reproductions of the artist's works in the book, which came from a magazine the artist worked for, were claimed by the magazine owner as his property, scaring off a possible publisher with a threatened lawsuit. The author goes on to discuss with his friend possible ways around this problem.
