Abstract

This working paper is conceived as an input to the “Comparative Research Panel” at the EUPRERA Congress 2009 in Bucharest. It based on twelve years of academic and practical experience in comparative international research out of Germany. The paper brings together the author's knowledge and experience of European journalism with his own "Interdisciplinary Theory of Interntaional Communication," and concentrates on the development of the main methodological difficulties that have already been encountered in comparative works on European journalism by the author.
