Abstract
We should put an end to regulatory uncertainty that has for too long been hampering the financial and banking system. We badly and urgently need some fundamental rules that politicians and regulatory authorities have to define in a perspective of a new global governance. Simplicity and regulatory incentives have in particular to be provided to those categories of banks that may play a more concrete role in fostering economic growth and job creation.
