Abstract

The legal secretary may be the most important cog in the law office. She is the firm's ambassadress to the world and the administrative glue that keeps the office together.

While the attorney's time is spent on completing the appropriate forms for legal pleadings, preparing and presenting a case in court, building good client relations, and managing a law office, the legal secretary has virtually an equally important role in the practice of law. So care must be taken in the training of the legal secretary.

Attorneys must recognize the role of legal secretaries in the law firm and just how they can contribute-or destroy- a practice. Imagine what your law office would be like without them.
