Abstract

The chapter considers the different ways in which the term 'non-state actor' is used in the context of postconflict peace-keeping and suggests some of the obligations that arise for such entities under international law.

L'expression 'acteur non-étatique' est utilsée dans la littérature et les textes juridiques. It est souvent utilisé pour désigner les groupes armés, les terroristes, la societ; civile, les groupes religieux ou les entreprises et il inclus parfois les organisations internationales.
