Abstract

This paper mais focus is on Effectiveness and the creation of legalt title to territory. Israel's claims on annexed territories (East-Jerusalem) is thus scrutinized, as well as the title on West Bank and Gaza, tracing back to the Ottoman Empire, the League of Nations Mandate and the UN. Furthermore, emphasis has been put on the legal title which can be asserted by the latter over Jerusalem; obvisously, the right of the Palestinian (arab) people to self-determination is examined.
