Abstract
This essay contains the collaboratively shared ideas for teaching techniques from both the presenters and contributing audience members at the Southeastern Association of Law Schools (SEALS) Teaching Techniques Workshop panel on “Innovative Teaching Techniques Used in Second/Third Year Courses.” Audience members submitted cards responding to the request: “Please share one innovative teaching technique you use that promotes a deeper understanding of the substantive issues in your upper level course or some form of skills learning (or both).” Responses are divided between “Innovative Teaching Techniques” and “Time and Place Innovations.”
