Abstract

Supervision is oriented towards professionals from social work, education, pedagogy, psychology, the spiritual domain, legal, medicine, administration, media, economics, research, science and technology. By specialists we also understand professional teams for whom there can be arranged the following activities: coaching and optimization, increase efficiency, team building; for these professionals there can be objectives like human resource development. The supervisor should use strategies, techniques based on interaction, to establish a professional and inter-personal relationship with the supervisee, with a duration and rhythm set on common agreement. The supervisor stimulates and recognizes the active participation of the supervisee that he respects as a person with a system of values and intentions, with current and potential opportunities but also its limitations. One of the common values of the supervisory relationship should be the value of helping the client make progress towards autonomy.
