Abstract

This paper aims to focus on the influential factors contributing to the satisfaction and dissatisfaction of the public and private college teachers of Bangladesh. Based on a survey, it attempts to gain insights into the job satisfaction levels from the perspective of the college teachers. It has been found that there are significant differences between public and private college teachers regarding job satisfaction. Analysis shows gender disparity exists among their responses. This suggests us how to handle the dissatisfaction of the college teachers.
