On the Skateboard, Kinematics and Dynamics

Abstract

The kinematics and the dynamics of the skateboard have been derived using first principle methods. The dynamics have also been derived using Lagrange’s equation from classical mechanics. The equation of motion is found in terms of the tilt-angle of the skateboard and the results have been compared to those of [3].
