Abstract

The present paper analyses the comparative existence of West with Islam. The researcher endeavours to enumerate the Islamic perspective of an ideal society by projecting the modern tenets specifically Darwinism, Freudianism and Marxism causing incessant discontent for the rational blind followers. Moreover, the unvarying complex of modern elite for following the medieval religion has also been scrutinized. The researcher begins with the consequences of Modern philosophies by highlighting the deprived intersection of religion, economic, gender as structural features of Modernism. Later, this paper also provides an insight into the related works of different scholars as Maryam Jameelah, Edward Said, Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Saleem and some other scholars who have scrutinized Islam with modern precepts and also enshrined with Quranic references to avoid any possible ambiguity. Edward Said in this regard has highlighted the diplomatic policies to westernize the medieval Islam. These policies are however thriving when the modern educated Muslim elite finds that the Islamic values are not appropriate to move in the society and adaptation of western culture avers no harm to its Muslim character. The paper concludes that the overwhelming Islamic outlook is the only way to spend a peaceful, contended and successful life contrasting Modern philosophies lurk disgruntlement.
