Abstract

Materials set forth the "nuts and bolts" of conducting effective Permanency Hearings as required by the Adoption and Safe Families Act of 1997. Through the use of proposed reports and forms, this addresses issues that must be addressed in each of these hearings, while helping provide a means of preserving records of both the child welfare agency's views and the court's ultimate decision on permanency options.
