Abstract
Media has its roots all over the world. It is therefore universal. What a universal department of life must be can be best know from the universal guidance, the best and topmost of which is available in the Holy Qur’an and Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (صَلَّی للهُ عَلۡیہِ وَ آ لِہٖ وَسَلَّم). This paper is an attempt to show what guidance is available there.
