Abstract
This paper analyses the inclusion of human rights norms in contractual instruments. After a case study, authors try to make sense of human rights contractualization form a theoretical standpoint. In this perspective, the paper proposes a legal pluralist approach to human rights contractualization and delineates its context, that is, a global contest over the meaning of human rights taking the form of a “global struggle for law”.
