Abstract

“Nearly everything in life is negotiation.” (Pecquet) Effective bargaining with others helps not only to deal more effectively with projects, and contracts, but also to resolve conflicts and to overcome crises. But as a negotiator what should you do first? As leaders of organizations, how to make sure your organization does first things first? This article focuses on seven moves that leaders, whether they are the boss or not, can make to enhance the negotiating power of both individuals and organizations.
