Abstract

When we think of China we always tend to think of economic issues. Nevertheless there were -and there are- many legal issues involved in the difficult and lengthy process of accession of China to WTO. This article analyzes in depth legal duties embodied in the Act of Accession of China to WTO and their current level of accomplishment and, also, controversies arising out of it. Cases involving the Act before the WTO are studied in depth throughout the text.
