Abstract
This paper deals with one of the six modes of securing attendance of a person by means of issuance of proclamation. The object is not to harass but to bring the person accused towards the rule of law and to answer the charge against him. The paper shows that all such care has been taken by the law of Pakistan whereby dignity of mankind is maintained and the rule of law is made to be observed at any cost.
