Abstract
Innovation is an abstract term, often used to address new ideas from almost any kind of development effort ranging from financial engineering to software engineering. Regardless of the definitions and application models of the term itself, the role of innovation and the process that incubates innovation within business systems often is pointed to entrepreneurship. While the model of entrepreneurship influencing innovation is not new, innovation influencing entrepreneurship has also been a recently acknowledged phenomena; a symbiotic relationship between the two has not yet been a widely practiced subject. The IT industry elucidates the proposed model of, what is termed in this study series to be a form of 'symbiosis', thought best given the underlining ecology of modern technology intermediated business conditions. A framework is suggested and the proposed framework assesses the general factors in a qualitative fashion and defines key variables imposed on identified constructs. This paper is to be followed by 'The Entrepreneurship-driven Innovation Growth Framework for Innovation-intensive outcomes, A Quantitative Study.' It is intended that together, the papers will complete the series with elaborate quantitative assessment of the proposed qualitative model of this paper with the gathered data from Small and Medium sized businesses located in, what is now widely acknowledged, the emerging markets of the Asia Pacific.
