Abstract

Network Analysis is used for mapping clusters of actors and their relation as subjects responsible for the economic crisis of 2008. The history of Network Analysis is presented focusing on the role triadic relations of its founders had in its development and how these pioneers have limited the field by a historical path dependence on nodes and edges disregarding angle measurements and their visual relation to classical geometrical figures. The strength of three dimensional bounded but infinite fractal triangular relations and the significance of even and odd numbers in the identification of balanced and imbalanced networks are explored as improvements to Network Analysis. The improved Network Analysis methodology is then developed as a relevant and efficient tool for the analysis of data and evidence in adjudicatory proceedings and law enforcement.
