Abstract

Akram Rahi is a contemporary poet of Punjabi language with depth and music in his poetry. To portray the realities of life is not possible unless there is purity of heart. It is not earned but is God gifted. When a poet composes his thoughts in to poetry after diving deep into the pains of life there shower expressions which are so melodious and attractive that hearts move with them and tears come out of the eyes of the audience. None on the earth can dare deny the kindness and mercy of parents and specially the mother. May God bless all the living mothers with long and healthy life and May God bless the souls of all such mothers who have become the departed souls anywhere. Aameen.
