Abstract
In this book review of Daniel Yergin’s The Quest, Yergin’s optimistic, yet careful analysis of the future of energy is clear. Yergin’s optimism rests in the potential for technological development, and as such modern energy trends are extensively covered. From age old questions about oil, to much newer questions about fracking and climate change, Yergin deftly weaves a thorough critique of energy into a surprising page turner.
