Abstract
The author discusses the elimination of the payroll tax as a priority over the estate tax, capital gains tax or even the income tax. The payroll tax hits working families harder then any other tax. Before the temporary relief, 15.3% of worker's income is removed even if the worker earns $7,000 a year or less.
