Abstract

You have heard of that expression, ‘Give me that old time religion’? Well, my reaction to Thompson (2012) is, ‘Give me that old time ethics.’ Yes, as Thompson fully demonstrates, great strides have recently been made in the biological sciences. But, contrary to that author, I maintain that none of them call for any new ethics. The old ones will do just fine, even in the face of these modern accomplishments.
