Abstract
Legal force of arbitral awards is a work which brings together important contributions of Romanian and foreign academics and practitioners.
The work was initiated following a conference having the same topic, which was organized by the Society of Legal Sciences in 2011 and contains papers concerning commercial arbitration in the context of European Union law, comparative law analyses concerning various arbitration rules (Greece and Brazil), issues of the case-law related to recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards in Romania and also on enforcement of a ruling sought by a Romanian lender abroad, the issue connected to the reduction of fees of the lawyer in arbitration, the organization of the arbitral tribunal, interim measures in international arbitration and solving the issues of the place in arbitration.
