Abstract

The meaning of the legal term counterfeiting and the issue of qualifying various acts as infringing acts are under constant development, facing challenges of reality. The article analyses the recent developments in European Union legislation qualifying objects of intellectual property rights as objects of property and the recent changes of Romanian Trade Mark Law No.84/1998 with regard to the scope of legal action for infringement of intellectual property rights.
