Abstract
This article offers practical tips for law students and practitioners to ensure their business emails comply with professional standards. It discusses when email is not an effective means of communication. It also discusses subject lines, salutations, closings, signature blocks, cc's and bcc's (how to decide which to use and important warnings about their misues), attachments, privilege statements, and urgency flags.
