Abstract

Directive Principles are the political manifesto of the state. The Directive Principles are not as enforceable as fundamental rights but the state can’t undermine it in formulating and executing its plan of action. The Directive Principle directs the state to achieve its objective of socio-economic transformation intended by the constitution.

In the developing countries like ours where many benefits are taken by elite, there are many revolutions. After revolution, it is difficult to address the want of people in constitution as fundamental right. Thus to manage the people’s sentiment in constitution directive Principles is regarded.
