Abstract

The problem of changing telecommunication service providers is the major issue for the telecom companies. These churn outs are basically due to different reasons. The problem of churn out is treated very crucial by the telecommunication companies as these churn outs on regular basis decreases their market share. Therefore the study is done in the rural areas of Lucknow district to understand the reasons due to which customer builds up his mind for changing the telecom service providers.

The reasons were identified and the study of relationship between the markets was done to find out whether the same reasons are responsible for churn outs at different locations namely Malihabad and Mohanlalganj. It was found that the relationship is positive between the markets concerning the reasons of churn outs. This proves the similarity of customer perception in the markets concerning the churn reasons.
