Abstract

“ EUROPE: SURVIVAL - A COMMON INTEREST UNIFYING A CONTINENT” is an aggregated DOCUMENTARY; its sources consist from the academic programs of the Summer School – International, Interdisciplinary and Academic Event (editions I, II, III and IV), and the correlated materials / photo and text / related to the interdisciplinary dedication and activities of the overseas members of the Interdisciplinary Research Group / DLMFS / CRIFST / Romanian Academy.

The mentor of this international, interdisciplinary and academic event was/is Academician MIRCEA MALITZA – mathematician, diplomat, essayist/writer, philosopher, University professor and Black Sea University founder (see the text and photo-documentary at the pages 3-4, 9, 12, 25, 32-33, 35-36, 38, 41, 56, 86, 91-92, 95, 97, 106). According to the step by step stage of this International, Interdisciplinary and Academic Summer School – one may comprehend that there is a dynamic of the participants (institutions and personalities – Romanian and foreign) starting from 22 academic, university and NGO entities/institutions and 53 personalities alongside the activities from 2009. But it is drawn up another mentor, too: Professor Dr. ALEXANDRU T. BOGDAN – Correspondent Member of the Romanian Academy (see the text and photo-documentary at the pages 29, 106-107, 111-112).

So, this aggregated DOCUMENTARY comprises data, photos and programs related to the - Ist edition: July 6-10 / 11-13, 2009 - pages 2-23; - IInd edition: July 2 si 5-8 / 9-11, 2010 - pages 24-54; - IIIrd edition: May 27, 29 iunie, June 14-15 and July 4-10 / July 15, 2011 - pages 55-84; - IVth edition: May 30 – 31 mai // June 5/6 iunie // July 2-3 // September 28-29, 2012 - pages 85-110 - ACKNOWLEDGMENT - pages 111-114.

The interdisciplinary dedication and activities of the overseas members of the Interdisciplinary Research Group / DLMFS / CRIFST / Romanian Academy are temporal-sequential present within the entireness of this aggregated DOCUMENTARY – which consists from both Romanian and English texts – according to the international dedication of this event. During these four years 2009-2012, there were four academic visits in Romania from: - Professor Dr. Marianne Beliş - Directrice Académique, Ecole Supérieure d'Informatique (Academy of Computer Science), Paris / France – presented at the pages 21-22; - Professor Ass. Dr. Marcella Pompili Pagliari - Professor ssa. at the Sapienza University of Rome / Italy – together with Marta Donolo - Director, Eutropia Onlus / Italy – presented at the pages 57-58; - Professor Dr. Dorien J. DeTombe Chair, International Research Society on Methodology Societal Complexity, Amsterdam / The Netherland – presented at the pages 72-73; - Professor Dr. Mariano L. Bianca - Dean, Department of Historical, Social and Philosophical Studies, Arezzo, University of Siena / Italy – presented at the pages 94-96.

Between 1998-2008 (so, before the focused period by this aggregated DOCUMENTARY) an impressive part from the overseas members of the Interdisciplinary Research Group / DLMFS / CRIFST / Romanian Academy were engaged into academic visits in Romania. The interdisciplinary dedication and activities of this Summer School – International, Interdisciplinary and Academic Event (editions I, II, III and IV) is acting mainly on applicative and fundamental interdisciplinary academic and university research (as the entire four years programs can present). A climax of this sort of research consists from the activities alongside the INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON EUROPEAN POLICIES - RESEARCH AND PRAXIS – presented at the pages 86-94. But a largely focused sub-domain exits: Science-Religion Dialogue. It is attempted and sequential presented at the pages 7, 10, 14-16, 30, 37, 39, 41-45, 47, 48-54, 59-71, 97-110. More of these pages are related to the thematic trips, pilgrimages and journeys intended and acting through different methods and capacities toward a contemporary international, interdisciplinary, multicultural and ecumenical Science-Religion Dialogue.

The interdisciplinary dedication and activities related to academic remembering on the four great Romanian personalities stemming the Interdisciplinary Research Group between 1994-1998 - i.e. Academician Stefan MILCU, Professor Dr.Doc. Edmond NICOLAU, Professor Dr.Doc. Victor SAHLEANU - presented at the pages 74-77. And according to the 100th anniversary for Professor Dr. Romulus VULCANESCU (honorary member of the Romanian Academy) the academic remembering activities are presented at the pages 78-84, 103. [From 1998, the Interdisciplinary Research Group was stemmed by Academician Mihai DRAGANESCU – some remembering activities are presented at the page 41 – and this type of activities will follow alongside 2013 – the third year after his death in May 2010.]

Also, the interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary dedications and activities of this Summer School – International, Interdisciplinary and Academic Event was/is acting mainly on major academic and university research – e.g. * Duty and Responsibility; Contemporary Systemic and Interdisciplinary Contributions - presented at the pages 98-99, 106; ** Socrates' Apology; Contemporary Systemic and Interdisciplinary Contributions - presented at the page 99-101; *** KANT - our contemporary spirit - presented at the page 105-107.
