Abstract

This paper focuses on the state of affair of legal education in Pakistan prevalent at the time of writing of this paper and after analysis, suggests some reforms. It argues that the public profession of law needs proper legal education system so that the judges, lawyers, paralegals and law teachers are well equipped to meet the challenges of 21st Century. The paper also suggests that instead of traditional lecture method in law schools, the case law method needs to be introduced. Apart from this, it also provides comparative analysis of the issues with some foreign jurisdiction. The importance of information technology in legal education has also been highlighted.
