Abstract

This comment provides an overview of the operation of the The Human Rights Act 2004 (ACT) (HRA). It addresses the range of rights protected, the mode of implementation of the rights, the respective roles of the arms of government, and the expected success or otherwise of the peculiar dialogue model reflected in the HRA.
