Abstract
Author in the present paper attempts, through a panel data econometric model, to point out that unemployment has a negative impact on fertility and supports the view of (Adsera, 2005); (Emilia Del Bono et al., 2008); (Kreyenfeld, 2005). The sample covers all western Europe. Data is taken from Eurostat. The elaboration of these panel data is made feasible by means of the Eviews software package.
