Abstract

Sasha Lilley’s book, Capital and Its Discontents, is a welcome addition to texts discussing the impact of capital on our everyday lives. She expands many of her earlier discussions from Against the Grain, a San Francisco–based radio program she founded. The interviews are engaging, the questions are largely eloquent, and the interactions between Lilley and her merry band of thinkers are illuminating.
