Abstract

Public affairs is growing in maturity as a subject and so is sustainability, both in the academic literature and as a better defined topic in practice; research strands on the subjects, however, have developed in parallel, and one of the objectives of this Special Issue is to bring the streams together. As editors, we have over 100 years of experience in research, teaching and consulting in public affairs, corporate social performance and sustainability. We trust this Special Issue makes a special contribution to the Journal of Public Affairs and its reputation.
