The research and innovation strategic status of OPV/PSC science in the past decade or so is analysed and model for a strategic approach for future presented as a brief on Strategy for Research on Organic photovoltaics and Plastic Solar Cells [semi conducting materials], which has a major science and innovation thrust of late, focused on sustainability of energy sources and policy for solar harvesting.
