Fiduciary Duty in the Context of Providing Investment Services

Abstract
This article suggests that a fiduciary or quasi-fiduciary duty on the bank to act in the best interests of the client when providing investment services to its client might be possible in Hong Kong, although this duty may be limited through the use of contractual provisions excluding such duties subject to extraneous risks.
