Abstract

This short, objective piece examines and analyzes a 2011 amendment to the California Unruh Civil Rights Act and the Fair Employment and Housing Act, expanding those Acts to include "genetic information" to a longer list of prohibited bases of discrimination, including sex, race, and national origin.
