Abstract

This brief response to Chad Flanders's article, "Election Law Behind the Veil of Ignorance," addresses Professor Flanders's clarification of the Democracy Canon, particularly the distinction between "popular democracy" and "legislative democracy," and highlights the utility of his approach in statutes that address candidates seeking office.
