Abstract

This article presents web programming and datavisualization implementation using Stata (do file and/or ado files). Stata datasets or excel files, so as text files (.txt) are used to create, fill in and format HTML and Java content.

Programming, loops and automation can be smartly implemented to increase proficiency and robustness. The resulting Stata programs can easily be updated and adapted by non-specialists (statisticians and/or webmasters). The strength of this technic is to get together statisticians using specific software (Stata, R) and web designers matching their field of competencies.
