Abstract

Russian Abstract: В статье анализируется социальное воздействие распада этнических институтов в языковой и религиозной сферах на процессы формирования новой этнической идентичности и субэтнических групп. По мнению автора, этничность представляет собой набор этноинститутов, которые отражают нормативные представления об идеальном поведении членов этногруппы. Этносообщество появляется, когда в реинтерпретации этнореальности возникает общественная договоренность по поводу институтов и неформализованных исключений.

English Abstract: The article analyzes the social impact of the disintegration of ethnic institutions in linguistic and religious spheres, on the formation of new ethnic identities and subethnic groups. The author considers ethnicity as a set of ethnical institutions, which reflect normative conceptions regarding ideal behavior of ethnic group members. An ethnic society appears when reinterpreting ethno-reality results in an agreement regarding institutions and non-formalized institutional exceptions from the rules of ethnic behavior.
