Abstract
Spanish Abstract: El presente documento evalúa el impacto del crédito productivo sobre la actividad económica y Formación Bruta de Capital Fijo, tanto en términos de magnitud como en tiempo de respuesta. Los resultados globales señalan que el crédito productivo tiene efectos significativos sobre ambas variables (0,14 y 0,18, respectivamente), siendo el periodo medio de respuesta de la actividad económica de 8 meses, en tanto que los efectos de largo plazo se darían tras 14 meses. Adicionalmente, se realiza este análisis a nivel sectorial, que reporta a la Agricultura y ganadería, Minería y Construcción como las actividades con mayor impacto sobre la Formación Bruta de Capital Fijo y, a Caza, silvicultura y pesca, Construcción e Industria como aquellas con mayor impacto sobre la actividad, resultados explicados por la participación del capital de inversión u operación del crédito productivo en cada uno de estos sectores.
English Abstract: This paper assesses the impact of productive borrowings on Economic Activity and Gross Fixed Capital Formation, both in magnitude and frequency response. The overall results mainly suggest that productive credit has significant effects on both variables (0.14 and 0.18, respectively), while the average time response of economic activity is eight months, in the long-term response would follow to 14 months. Additionally, the sectorial analysis reports that the Agriculture and Livestock, Mining and Construction have the greatest impact on Gross Fixed Capital Formation and hunting, forestry and fishing, construction and industry as those with the mayor impact on outcome, explained effect by the share of capital investment or productive credit operation in each of these sectors.
