Abstract

A strategic theory of election campaign is presented in this work. The theory is interwoven with examples from Indian elections, both from general elections as well as from elections conducted in different states. The work offers to practitioners, political leaders, political parties and strategists, a framework to formulate and guide their strategies in different elections in different contexts.

The subject of rise and fall of leaders in Indian elections has rarely been studied to with an idea to develop a comprehensive framework.
