Abstract

The author offers her comments, in conjunction with other distinguished scholars and law teachers, on law student essays prepared for the 2003 “To Do Feminist Legal Theory” seminar. Her approach is to engage the students, to problematize the material, to challenge their assumptions, their data or even their analyses in a style that is meant to engage, not to trump, the arguments they have advanced. In doing so, she hopes the students will receive, will perceive, her comments as praxis, as a way of doing feminist theory.

Keywords: feminist legal theory
