Abstract

Narrative account of changes and issues in aviation security in Australia since 9/11 - the Schapelle Corby and Allan Kessing cases - Wheeler Review, 'An independent review of airport security and policing for the Government of Australia' - 'Inquiry into the adequacy of Australian aviation and maritime security in countering serious and organised crime' - police capabilities and co-ordination - adequacy of entry and exit controls - regional airports - argument that the standard principles of security management should be built into the planning and management of critical infrastructure security.
