Abstract
Mature healthcare markets provide higher quality, equity and accessibility of services than middle-to-low income societies can afford. However, the situation is still underway in the United States, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, and Japan. These nations have been facing rising societal demand; and are aging; affordable accessible healthcare services under the decade are stagnating economic growth. The quality, equity and accessibility of services are partially due to financial constraints, reimbursement strategies, inefficient soft/hard resources, and healthcare system. World leading communities possess their adaptive methods to achieve policy targets by using different models of delivering health and medical care services. Authors compared health economics framework to analyze healthcare delivery under the different organizational management along with societal and cultural representative of diverse economic regions: US, Western vs. Eastern Europe and Japan. In conclusion, both high-income Japan and middle-income Eastern Europe need to introduce health economics as an essential methodological tool for resource allocation.
