Abstract

Leaders are both born and bred. How much is which -- has a good deal to do with the effectiveness of the leader and her or his suitability for the times in which the leader leads. Through an analysis of biblical leaders, leadership qualities are analyzed, archetypes delineated, and learnable skills best suited to four different personality types are proposed.

Keywords: leadership, born or bred, heredity or environment, education and environment, personality types, archetypes, leadership skills
