Abstract
This short blog paper (5 pages) summarizes: (1) the conceptual foundation for the use of electronic records as evidence; (2) the "system integrity concept" and "the discovery triangle" of concepts; and, (3) the necessary legal infrastructure for electronic discovery and admissibility. The concepts and arguments set out have been facilitated by what the author (a Canadian lawyer/attorney) has learned from working with experts in electronic records management.
